FEBS Letters Channels
Virtual Special Issue

FEBS Letters is proud to launch a new series of Virtual Special Issues which will highlight a collection of outstanding articles recently published in the journal, focusing on a selection of topics that we hope will be of general interest to our readers.

In conjunction with our recent Special Issue on Intracellular Ion Channels, we are presenting a Virtual Special Issue on Channels, enclosing a selection of outstanding contributions on the topic published in FEBS Letters in the past two years. While the Intracellular Ion Channel Special Issue presents original Reviews on the recent advances regarding ion channels within the cell, the Virtual Special Issue collects a number of exciting Research Letters on the most diverse aspects of channels, such as intercellular communication, uptake of extracellular molecules, stress response, and disease; all analysed from a mechanistic point of view and introducing novel view-points on the diversity of functions that channels can have. We invite you to take a look at both Special Issues, as we believe that taken together they provide a good example of the high-standard science published in FEBS Letters.
